Nambiti / Battlefields Package 3 Nights

DAY 1 - We head off to Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge in the malaria-free "Big 5" Nambiti game reserve The five-star Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge offers intimate and luxurious accommodation in the midst of the spectacular African beauty of the Nambiti Game Reserve. It is a haven of sophistication surrounded by wild terrain. Perfect for anyone seeking both privacy and romance. Or simply time to reflect whilst searching for the Big Five or taking in the exquisite vistas from the quiet comfort of the lodge deck. On our first evening you will experience a night drive (3 hrs) after which you will enjoy a delicious dinner with a range of excellent South African wines.

DAY 2 - Early morning game drive followed by breakfast then a free day to relax at the lodge. In the evening enjoy a game drive.

DAY 3 - Full day battlefields tour. Walk in the footsteps of famous military strategists - Shaka, Winston, Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi and General Louis Botha - they were all part of the KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields. The wind sighs and whispers the secrets and sorrows of great battles, made visible by lone forts and small graveyards on these undulating landscapes ringed with rocky outcrops. The legacy of our Zulu Kingdom's critical, blood-soaked conflicts today lives peacefully - reconciled in this fascinating region's myriad Battlefield sites, historic towns, national monuments and museums - and in HQs of the British regiments who make a 'pilgrimage' to these fields of bravery and supreme sacrifice. After a day on the battlefields enjoy a dinner at Nambiti Hills.

DAY 4 - Enjoy a morning game drive followed by breakfast and then checkout for the transfer back to Durban.
